Maybe these haven't been asked all that often but this should help explain things.
If your question isn't answered below, please email any questions BEFORE you order.
Q. What will I receive?
A. You get a one-of-a-kind hand-drawn 9”x12” illustration by Robert Elrod (12”x17” for groups). If ordering a color portrait, you will receive an 8" x 10" photographic print (11"x14" for groups) in addition to the hand-drawn illustration. Both are ready-to-frame and of the highest quality. Q. Will you accommodate my special request?
A. This service is all about special requests! When ordering, please let me know what you have in mind. If you have a reference image to send along with your head shot, please do so. If you'd rather send a link to the reference image, that's great too.
Q. How do we get started?
A. Please place your order here. PayPal will process your order. Then email your head shot and additional reference images, if any, to
robert@monsterportraits.com. Once payment is processed or your images are received, the illustration will begin.
Q. How long will I wait for my portrait?
A. You should receive your customized Monster Portrait within three to four weeks. If you need it sooner, that may be possible but could incur a rush charge. Please let me know if you need a Monster Portrait for an upcoming special occasion. I'll do my best to help you.
Q. How do I order a group Monster Portrait?
A. Your group portrait means that when ordering you'll need to change the quantity to reflect the number of monsters in your portrait. A couple would be a quantity of "2". Three monsters would be a quantity of "3" and so on. The hand-drawn illustration would then be 12"x17" and, if ordering a color product, you'll also receive an 11"x14" photographic print. You can even request that each monster be of a differing "monster species" (i.e., werewolf, zombie, vampire, etc.).
Q. What about shipping costs?
A. Shipping is a flat fee, regardless of where I'm shipping. I will also provide you with a tracking code for your package and insurance in case of loss or damage during delivery. Once your portrait has been handed over to the carrier, www.monsterportraits.com is not responsible for lost packages or for anything held up by the Customs Department. I'll be happy to group additional portraits – order multiple portraits during checkout and pay for shipping once.

I reserve the right to use your Monster Portrait and reference images for promotional purposes. Otherwise, the portrait is yours. Feel free to display it as you wish. If you would later like to get additional prints or other promotional items, as they become available, please contact
